Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 Tbsp. raw, organic honey
  • 3 Tbsp. Coconut oil or olive oil
  • 5 Tbsp. raw milk
  • Net cloth

Prepare banana hair mask for dry hair

  • Take 2 ripe banana, cut them into pieces
  • Keep all the cut pieces of banana in a thin net cloth to mash them properly without leaving any clumpy resides. Collect mashed banana coming out from clothes in a bowl. You can also mash them in the blender. But make sure it should be fine paste without any residues otherwise it will not come from your hair even after a wash.
  • Now add 2 tbsp. of raw honey, 2-3 tbsp. of coconut oil and 5 tbsp. of raw milk and mix them properly.

How to use banana hair mask on dry hair

Apply:

Gently apply this hair mask starting from your roots to the ends. Spread it as much as you can. Make sure that you have covered every bit of your scalp and hair. Tie your hair in a loose bun and put a shower cap or you can use towel also to avoid dripping it around.

Leaving:

Leave it for 20-30 minutes to get absorbed the nutrient deeply. Till that time, you can listen to music, watch your favorite shows, can gossip with friends, or read a novel. I prefer the last one.

Rinsing:

The banana residue is hard to get off from the hair. It can be due to improper mashing of banana, therefore chunks lefts in. try to make a smooth mixture, without leaving any clumpy residues.

Rinse your hair with regular shampoo. No need to condition your hair, you will feel them silky and smooth in first wash only.

How to remove banana residues from your hair

Well! As I explained you above that banana is hard to get rid of hair, so try to make your paste evenly thin and without clump.

A proper rinsing can help you to get rid of this problem.

Firstly, bend your hair down and let the tap water run thoroughly through the hair, most of your banana residues get out from hair.

After that, shampoo your hair and again rinse your hair in the same way under running tap water.

Now, take a thick teeth shampoo comb, and comb out your hair in running water to get rid of banana residues.

Repeat this process until your hair get cleaned properly.

Final Rinsing Treatment:

Take a mug, filled with water and mix 5 tbsp. of honey. Then rinse your hair for the last time with this water, or you can also use 5 tbsp. of beer or vinegar, in one mug of water.
